COA Student Handbook
The Student Handbook lists important site and district policies, programs, and expectations. It is imperative that students AND parents are informed of this information. Please take some time to thoroughly review the handbook with your student so that they are familiar with expectations.
Student id Cards
Chandler Online Academy schedules one each quarter for Full-time students to obtain a school photo I.D. Look for an email from Mrs. Gleason for more details. Your COA student I.D. can be used to qualify for discounts at many different retail stores and entertainment venues, such as Harkin's movie theatres!
Learning Resource
Access Khan Academy for thousands of free video tutorials on several academic subjects.
Standards of Excellence
Chandler Online Academy courses were created, and are continuously updated, by experienced instructional designers working together with subject area experts. Based on principles of effective e-learning combined with universal cognitive learning theories, COA online courses combine state of the art technology with proven learning theories to provide students with material they can utilize to both achieve learning goals and gain 21st Century skills.
